Story

Larapinta Trek for the Katrina Dawson Foundation

This year I wanted to challenge myself and support a worthy charity.

In May, I will be participating in a guided walk along the Larapinta Trail in Central Australia to raise awareness of and funds for the Katrina Dawson Foundation.

The Katrina Dawson Foundation is about 'finding, funding and mentoring inspiring young women'. Their aim is to remove barriers and create opportunities for exceptional young women to fulfil their potential.

Please read more about this amazing charity here.

Thanks for your support - Fiona.

The Katrina Dawson Foundation

The Katrina Dawson Foundation, established in Katrina's memory, is about 'finding, funding and mentoring inspiring young women'. We support these girls in two main ways - through residential scholarships to The Women's College (within the University of Sydney) and Fellowships with our 2016-2017 fellowship partner: The Aurora Education Foundation, which helps indigneous students maximise their potential through education.
